Manthani Inaugurates New Sulabh Public Toilet Complex to Strengthen Urban Sanitation

A new 13-seater Sulabh Public Toilet Complex was inaugurated at Subhash Nagar, Manthani, marking another step towards strengthening public sanitation infrastructure and improving access to safe, hygienic, and inclusive sanitation facilities for the community.


The facility was inaugurated by Mr. B. Sri Nivash, Hon'ble Municipal Chairman, and Mr. N. Manohar, Municipal Commissioner, in the presence of Ward Councillors, representatives of Sita Ram Seva Sadan, and other distinguished dignitaries.


Designed to meet the needs of all users, the complex includes a dedicated accessible unit for persons with disabilities, along with a sanitary pad vending machine, sanitary waste incinerator, and hand dryers, promoting dignity, hygiene, and convenience.


Supported through the CSR initiative of Boeing India and constructed and maintained by the Sulabh International School of Action Sociology and Sociology of Sanitation (SISASSS), the project reflects Sulabh's continued commitment to building cleaner, healthier, and more inclusive communities through sustainable sanitation infrastructure.
